orphaned again...

there is something in the works in dark back rooms where meddlesome minds of the controlling kind connive and plot to maneuver and manipulate for their own fun and profit at the expense of others. there is always something happening like that which is why we have to keep a watchful eye on their seedy sneaky eye or they will take what doesn't belong to them. in this case i speak of something called the orphaned work act. most of the gist can be extracted from detailed accumulation here:

basically, it is a law in the works to legalize theft of previously copyrighted or thought copyrighted work without legal recourse after the fact. i think someone is also trying to create a new industry where artists must pay a private entity to deem a work protected. it has left me as it should others with a reasonable fear that anything we make or place on the internet can be used by someone else without our permission. i smell the stench of corporate servitude as usual. so i'm really considering pulling all of my stuff off this site and just using it as a vehicle to denounce and renounce... which really pisses me off. i suppose i could just put work here i can afford to lose. but then i'm possibly just doing things for other people and not getting paid... the way any good capitalist entity likes it.
