proliferation
what else is there,
as we are but billions of micro-organisms,
coagulated;
clinging to the skin of a billion-trillion ton rock,
hurling through space and time at millions of miles per hour,
and the only thing we should really care about,
is aspiring to grace with eloquence;
but instead we build bypasses;
we allow tangents,
and petty semantics to clutter our path.
I think it's called war,
and we have forgotten its art,
because the quest should never have been the spoils;
it should have been the aspiration of grace withe eloquence.
maybe we should change that part in the constitution:
"the right to pursue happiness" to:
"the right to pursue grace with eloquence".
maybe happiness is too vague for human comprehension,
at least in the context of that which is for the greater good,
and I would hope "the greater good" meant:
survival of the species.
