no cholesterol...

I'm pondering vegetable oil for fuel. I have a 65 GMC pickup that would be prime for the conversion. I wonder if I were to douse myself with cooking oil, could I accidentally set myself on fire? Will I smell like french fries? Will dogs follow me? I'm having problems finding a diesel that fits.
